MotoVizion was born in the heart of the San Francisco region, driven by a passion for innovation and AI in the automotive industry. Founded by Ryan Dietz, who began his automotive career in 2010 working for Toyota dealerships, MotoVizion emerged as a solution to a pressing need for modernization in an industry that often lags in adopting new technologies.
In 2016, Ryan Co-Founded his first automotive vendor company, Vettx, but it wasn’t until 2022, when he began working with large language models (LLMs) and diving into AI, that the seeds for MotoVizion were planted. With a desire to bring cutting-edge AI technology into automotive service departments, Ryan set out to create a truly innovative product: Pre-Diagnostics.
Ryan has long believed that the automotive industry, especially in the service department, has been outdated, weighed down by long-term contracts, high setup fees, and poor customer service. He envisioned MotoVizion as a product that would change all of that—by introducing a flexible SaaS model with no long-term contracts, no setup fees, and instant onboarding. His mission was to give power back to dealerships, allowing them to operate more efficiently and deliver better customer experiences.
MotoVizion began as a pilot program in the San Francisco region, partnering with Toyota USA. After a successful pilot, the AI-driven Pre-Diagnostics solution was fully developed and deployed. This tool helps dealerships reduce service advisor time, improves technician efficiency, and leads to a more seamless customer experience.
